I took a crappy photo but can't upload the link. Very light meringue dome about six inches in diameter, covered in a dome of caramelized sugar with some almond slices embedded in the sugar dome in some very light creme anglaise. With a few mounds of caramelized almond slices.

I could only do a little more than half. Could probably have eaten the whole thing if not for the sugar dome. It was delicious, but too sweet while the rest was very light.

I tried to get the baba to go, but no luck as they do not have appropriate take out containers.

Prasantrin--if and when you come to NYC, you have to go to Le Coq Rico and try the île flottante. Similar to what you describe. And you can definitely find people willing to share it with you. ;)
