I have a huge guess coming but, i don't want to jinx them but, i went by the other day and all the signs are pointing to them closing.

The Eater article said they were already closed.

"I don't understand what's wrong with thinking of correlation as a pricing convention the way one thinks of Black-Scholes vol. I mean, vol curves aren't "real" anyway, but nobody uses local vol models to price vanilla options." - Taion

"But this is blatant ultracrepidarianism on my part." - Taion

I have a dream of a multiplicity of pastramis.

Professor thoms is a much better Boston bar, if you must go to such a place.

Yes it is.

Minor tragedy. Sun Bakery on Essex closes.

Major tragedy! Soba-Koh is gone!

I've bought a lot of buns and chicken pies from Sun Bakery over the years.

It's where I get my yearly moon pie. And my occasional dollar bags of sweet rolls.

I think we'd eaten here in the last 3 months.

But I still always preferred Sobaya.

I had one lousy meal at Sobaya and never went back. I guess I'll give it another try. I like Cocoron alright, but (at least the last time I went) they don't serve alcohol. And I like to drink and eat at the same time.

Am I the only person who reads Cocoron as "Corcoran" every time I see it, and wonders why a Japanese restaurant would have an Irish name?

If Google is a person, then no.
