The piece hanging on the wall is something she made, the pieces on the floor are what she is working on for her art show in Cuba

We just learned by the way that Miss K, sold this piece to a museum in Alabama for like a lot of cash..  Pretty exciting, she sold a piece in her first art show..

Wow.  I have not looked at this thread in several years and is unbelievable how she has evolved.  Congrats Daniel and Missie K.

Thank you, I really appreciate you  following. She is still so young, it's still so exciting watching her develop.

Thanks all.. Here is some of the Cuba Show

Here is us arriving with the work in Cuba:

More transport in a tini Cuban Taxi:

We went straight to Fabrica del Arte where we met with the collaborating artist and the curator of the museum.

We then went to have the art work mounted.

It was great for her to see the process:

He makes all his own frames:  He speaks fluent Russian, has a huge amount of grapes growing on his roof which he loves and everyone in his family hates.. We sat on the roof drinking vodka and eating grapes for a bit.. We also brought him a babka which the family loved, much more than the grapes.

We brought our buddy a bunch of stuff.. Most importantly, a lot of children's Tylenol.

That night we went to this rooftop dance club.. Everyone was doing the Electric Slide:  Miss K drew the DJ and his friends

We also had some time to soak up authentic Cuba Culture

And here is the curator and Carlos Quintana, a famous Cuban Artist meeting Karas and tell her the Confession, piece, is his favorite piece in the show...  Not too bad

And if it's in BHM, you can go enjoy Frank Stitt's restaurants in person  ;) .

Love, love, love!

Question - Where's the blue-ish hair? Or was it purple-ish? I liked it! (natural is good, too, but I envy women who can dye their hair)

It changes. She is very wash and wear and its a thing to have to keep up with the colors. There is the special shampoo and maintanence. I think if she could press a button, she would change it more often than sitting for hours at a salon.
