Now Facebook is saying if I give a dollar I can win a chance for Pizza with Pete. I wonder what South Bend style pizza is like.
sandwiches that are large and filling and do not contain tuna or prawns

Isn't "Pizza with Pete" a new interactive action series being developed by the Oxygen Network?

Two business trips to North Chicago, two crazy ORD situations:

  • Day trip turned into overnight due to T-storms in NYC. Imploring my colleagues to do something rather than suck down margaritas so that we wouldn't be sleeping on the floor of O'Hare.  Managed to snag rooms at Hilton, then needed to buy underwear and such as I hadn't packed anything for an overnight.  Nearly didn't get home the next day thanks to T-storms in Chicago.
  • Hours-long delay thanks to a small electrical fire in the bathroom of the control tower, which occurred right before lunchtime.  Only consolation was getting to see Andre Previn, who was on the plane I eventually wound up on.

is Andre still dead?

“One thing kids like is to be tricked. For instance, I was going to take my little nephew to Disneyland, but instead I drove him to an old burned-out warehouse. 'Oh, no!', I said, 'Disneyland burned down.' He cried and cried, but I think that deep down he thought it was a pretty good joke. I started to drive over to the real Disneyland, but it was getting pretty late.”

Last night at O’Hare was brutal. Storms passes through before 10 am. We had flights at 7 pm. Place was still overwhelmed trying to play catch up. Our pilots couldn’t even get ATC to respond to them for awhile. The only thing they did well was not violate the tarmac rule. We taxied around for just short of 3 hours. Went to a gate, opened the door, closed the door and taxied for another2 + hours. I hope I never set foot in that hell hole again.

If I got on a plane and saw Andre Previn, I would be terrified. 😄

Yes, but not at the time of the flight.  :P

In today's insanity:

An amusement park in Germany shut down a new attraction this week after complaints that it resembled a pair of giant, spinning swastikas that lifted riders into the sky over the Black Forest town of Löffingen.

Evidently:

Rüdiger Braun, the owner of the parktold reporters from the European Broadcasting Union that until the backlash, he had not noticed the ride’s resemblance to an iconic symbol of Nazi Germany.

I've heard disloyal jews ride for free.

I hate those swastika rides. Your arms always get caught between the bars when they make you give that silly salute.

Waking up with 20 minutes left in my flight, there is no need to spend the 18 dollars 15 dollars for 20 minutes
Of internet. It’s strange as sometimes I will go to the United app to pay and I will notice I get an email ding or a like from Instagram pop up. Well now, without paying, i only have access to mouthfuls. No messenger, no text messages, no email, no other websites but moutfhuls working. I’m assuming this has something to do with Ori
Ason, I keep planets in orbit.

The filters here blocked me from looking at the "What are you watching?" thread, with "Sex" given as the reason.
