I thought that TBD is short for "to be determined" and that the restaurant's actual name hasn't been settled yet.

They're having this big dispute with the Fisher family over the re-renaming of Philharmonic Hall, if they can find someone to fund its renovation. Maybe they could have solved it by naming the restaurant Avery's.

The most newsworthy part to me is that Eater suggests it's now opening in December.

ETA: Directly contradicting NYT which still says September.
