I'm in Billings, MT for a meeting and did some searching for a decent restaurant. I found Cafe DeCamp in a rather industrial part of town. Quirky interior but a satisfying meal.

I had a sort of plate-sized fish taco that you eat with a fork and knife. Nicely fried mahi mahi, creme fraiche, butter lettuce, smashed black beans, and a tomato/avocado salsa on a large grilled tortilla. Served with a tomatillo salsa and a creamy avocado salsa.

A dessert of maple flan with huckleberry caramel on a crepe was a clunker. The flan was too dense. The huckleberry caramel and the crepe were very nice.

Depending on the meeting tomorrow I might be here more often.

Wine Spectator occasionally has mentions of restaurants which have submitted menu and wine list information.

One place that shows up for Billings MT is The Granary. The menu looks interesting, too. 1500 Poly Drive in Billings. No personal experience
