Eater reports that the Brooklyn restaurant will be opening its first Jersey City location at 8 Erie Street in early 2014.  Neighbors will include a restaurant to be opened by HGTV's Kitchen Cousins.

The area is super hot in real estate.  Right off Newark Avenue in the flats, about four blocks from Grove Street PATH train station.  Thirty Acres is nearby, as are a slew of new condo and apartment projects.

Talde is not closing.  Carrino Provisions will close in a few weeks and reopen with a new name and concept.

And, here's the info on the new Bell & Gray.  A more formal restaurant, and an informal space.  High end beverage experience based on this report

Looks like Talde's restaurant in Nyack at Palisades Center Mall is closed.  (The Hudson)

Posters advertising its opening were there longer than the restaurant itself

I think maybe he’s closing all his restaurants?

He always appeared to be a bit of a tool on the show; but then again, I guess everyone on the show appeared to be a bit of a tool as opposed to being "top" chefs.

Who are the ones who have been able to parlay that TV exposure/experience into actually running successful restaurant operations?

mike isabella, who doesn’t seem nice, is done, although I guess he had a large empire at some point.

spike probably does okay.

I wonder why they all chose dc?

Yeah, he (Isabella) was big, and then crashed and burned. Didn't he start with Jose, and that was his DC connect?

Yes he did.

I thought I saw the one of voltaggios had also shut down.
