Sutton and Sietsema will award stars on separate 1-to-4 scales, so Sietsema's 3* for an Arepa truck in Queens is not the same as Sutton's 3* for Annisa.

It's amazing it's taken so long for a publication to take this obvious step.

I recall the druids howling for this as they gathered around the henge at solstice.

Ryan Sutton will compare Roberta's in Bushwick, Brooklyn to a jack of all trades 24-hour diner.

Harsh!!!  :D

To be fair, New York Magazine did something like this a few years ago, with Platt giving up to five solid black stars, and the Underground Gourmets giving up to five outlined white stars.

I didn't realize that.

I have a dream of a multiplicity of pastramis.

Yes, they do, although I don't think I ever notice the Underground Gourmet stars.

On the bright side it was lots better than Sammy's.

I'm reminded of a friend who had to make a lot of business trips there but was allergic to walnuts.

Welcome to Eater comments. Sutton is "certifiable," and aspects of his review are "total cobblers," "full of it," "masturbatory and ignorant," and "an absurd puff piece of food media bubble jackassery."

Whoo.
