I guess not to be undone, Shauna Lyon in this week's New Yorker, had this to say in her review of King:

 

before you even order you are presented with a flamboyant whoosh of paper-thin crisp bread resembling a Frank Gehry band shell.

You're just upset that she didn't use the phrase "carb-laden stodge".

 

Not at all. I love carb-laden stodge, and cook it frequently.

At about 10:00PM.  And sometimes at 7:00AM.
