I take it that vegetarians would not find anything of interest and that meat is an essential element of every offering?

I don't think so. My 2nd visit included a baked potato stuffed with cod collar and other non meat things that was very good. The sandwich with soft shell crab can probably be made without any meat & they have a full cheese selection. I'm probably leaving out other choices.

We have a vegetarian sandwich, we have a buratta salad, we have a mackerel and radicchio plate, we have an avocado crostini, we have a ricotta and beet crostini, We have cheese plates, we have peanuts and various nut Tubs in the store, we have a kale salad and a panzanella salad (with or without prosciutto bread) and then tons of beer!!!
There is definitely something for everyone. Mac And cheese, coming soon. We are trying to have new Menu items all the time and are definitely aware and happy to provide food for all.

Tonight we are adding pan roasted to oysters to the menu.. Tomorrow we are adding mac and cheese and a roast beef sandwich that has been marinating for about 72 hours..

We are doing a ridiculous beer and a shot special.. 8 dollars for an ounce and a half of Widow Jane Rye and a can of Evil Twin.  Though, i think our wine is some of the better priced in town.. (though, we have alerted the staff to change the pricing when a certain Brooklyn resident finally shows up)

Well, it's near the G, but maybe I'll walk up from the A, as the A is more convenient to board...

'Oh, no!', I said, 'Disneyland burned down.' He cried and cried, but I think that deep down he thought it was a pretty good joke. I started to drive over to the real Disneyland, but it was getting pretty late.”

It's ridiculous to think I could even consider "reviewing" a place run by good friends.  Let me just say this is a great place to hang out.  The beer selection is good, the bartenders are great, the food is really good (watch out for salt, though).  My only complaint about the bar is that I think they undersell their cocktail program.

The store is pretty great, too.  This is really Clinton Hill coming of age, is what it is (although done with sensitivity to the old neighborhood as well).

And if you wait long enough, Jax makes an appearance.

Perhaps a Mouthfuls outing is required to show our support of Daniel and Miss A.
