General Tso's chicken sandwich.. just have to go to the local chinese spot and buy those crispy wonton noodles and throw it in the the sandwich and she's done... One night only at OG tonight for an Evil Twin Beer event... I mean, I made a really good general tso's sauce.. I followed a recipe and then added a lot more spice, two types of pepper, more vinegar and more sesame than i was supposed to, three different types of soy, dark, sweet and seasoned and then some MSG.  But ultimately it's general tso.  The crunch from the wontons was a good addition and a lot of fun.. The broccoli is steamed in a ginger soy...   The staff seemed to like it.. .  I made enough for about 50 sandwiches.. it's no hot chicken but, it's a fun switch up.

A great visit to Grand Street Mekelburg's yesterday. Nice variety taps on offer and the caviar pie remains one of my favorite new dishes in NYC. It's become more of a must have at Mekelburg's than the roasted oysters.  There was also a Keto Kaelin (Daniel) sighting.

He seemed a bit out of it but at that point in his fast I might have looked like a human sized hot dog without the bun.

Service remains some of the best in they city.

Anybody who doesn’t love the caviar pie has something wrong with them.

Well, then count me as one of those who “has something wrong with them” because I don’t like caviar.

You'd better get that checked, Roz.

The most common cure is repeated exposure to large doses of beluga or similar.

Caviar with iberico lardo, celery. Pairing Amós Bañeres Misstage en Una Ampula.

But only when we finally have seating.

Need to find time to actually go hang out with Mekelburgs to even think abut collabs.

Well if you come by, chances are,we may not be there   :)   We are excited to be apart of a the Governors Ball concessions.  We will be selling chicken sandwiches and our babka bites at a series of concerts in Prospect Park this summer as well.   Looking forward to relaxing some time this winter.
