Monkey tastes pretty great straight.

Cinghiale, do you get to Munich these days? You gotta check this place out: Szenedrinks

Looks like a cool shop. Germans seem to have really gotten into artisanal beverages in recent years. I see Fritz-kola signage everywhere when I'm in Hamburg. And my friend's neighbor was bottling a rum drink for a time.

Haven't been to Munich recently. Would love to go back to Georgenhof, though. :)

Fritz kola has long been surpassed - it’s all over the place everywhere in Germany but there are others. There is a lot of cool stuff, even craft beers these days.

Sbagliato di Monaco: equal parts Amaro Mondino, Dorst & Consorten Merwut vermouth, and pink Mumm sekt that a neighbour brought by. The Merwut stuff is really good, need to get more of that.

I need to go back and start reading this whole thread, as N has been getting really into cocktails over the last several months.  Last night, she made a hot spiked cider, using bourbon, apple cider, cider syrup, maple syrup, Meyer lemon juice, and a bit of Angostura.  Nice for a rainy March.
