Someone elsewhere threw up a warning red flag about using Uber in Paris, whether from Charles de Gaulle to downtown or just around town.  The implication seemed to be that competitors' resentments could cause peril!?!

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

We used it. No issues.

Sammy,  that's good to hear.

Did you use Uber from de Gaulle to downtown?  If so, did you meet Uber at the departures gate...or otherwise, where?

Thanks!

We didn't fly into Paris so no, didn't use it from the airport but did take Uber to CDG when leaving.

If you carry a weapon discreetly but not too discreetly, there should be no trouble.

FWIW, taxis are now by law a set 55euros from CDG to Paris so traffic is np longer a cost issue.

So no issues using Uber within Paris? Returning soon and have not used it there.

Used it extensively recently.  No issues.
