Usually I'm a little disappointed when they repeat coffees within a short period.  But I reflected as I was drinking my coffee this morning that I am not sorry to see more of that Karinga.

I really like it better than whatever it was I was drinking before it.

Significant Eater remarked, this morning when I brewed the first 2 cups of that coffee, just how good it is.

While I sure do love the coffee I've been getting from TW, it also is starting to seem very repetitive, with most everything coming from Columbia, Honduras, and occasionally Kenya.

I'm starting to wonder if I should move my subscription over to George Howell?

Anyone else think about this?

Can't help you, my coffee comes from beautiful downtown Ozone Park.

We have different coffee theories.

I've never tired of coffees from Kenya, sometimes Ethiopia.    Sometimes I mix the two.   Or  Peet's Ozuri blend.

So this month's shipment is 3 Kenyans.  I get that they're all different, but it sure seems like maybe they could have subbed one for a Central or South American, no?

But to be fair, two were shipped together expressly for comparison.

The peaberries totally kicked ass on the AA, IMO.

I thought the peaberries made the AA seem vulgar.

I now know not of what you speak, as I've moved to George Howell and Counter Culture and Joe the Art of...

Mostly due to inventory control and my inability to control receiving from Norway/US Customs.

I got mine on the 19th. Less of a big deal for me, though – I just fill in with Colonna Nespresso pods when I've messed up my supply chain, and I'm pretty happy with the geisha pods I'm using now.

BTW, if you're looking for a Nordic roast in the city, Paper Coffee often stocks La Cabra – though I'm not sure whether they got their New York based roasting operation set up.

So, I just got my Coffee Advent Calendar.

I have no idea what to do with 56 g of coffee a day for the next 25 days. I can maybe use up 40 g in a pinch if I make two pourovers, but... oof.
I didn't tip at Per Se either.
