OK, did some serious stovetop cooking tonight.  The kitchen air purifier DEFINITELY made a difference.

Let me clarify:  my stove has a hood.  It just isn't vented outside.  And, although it does a lot of good, it doesn't do ENOUGH.  There's always smoke pervading the rooms next to my kitchen.

But not tonight.  The kitchen purifier clarified the air going into the other rooms.  Although the purifiers in the two contiguous rooms were still going on 10, there wasn't this cloud of greasy smoke pervading that end of my apartment.

Good job.

What do your guests think when they arrive at your apartment and see an army of air purifiers?

To be serious for a moment, could one of the admins move the multiple recent posts about air purifiers to a separate thread?  They really don't belong in a Space Heater thread.

Aside from the fact that one heats air and the other one cleans air they really have nothing in common.  I find purifiers pretty interesting but the discussion is in the wrong spot.

The drift begins here.

Thanks for all of these comments.    I have just sent on some to our son whose house has wonky ventilation that sends smells into an upstairs bedroom.    This might be a solution to their completely avoiding grilling a steak or frying bacon.

They don't look like an army of air purifiers.  They look like an army of robots.

I don't want to cause undo bother, but as the creator of the thread drift, I must note that it actually began here.

Tonight I finally put my kitchen purifier to a true full test.  And yes, it DEFINITELY made a difference.

I wish it would help wash the pan for me.  But I guess that's asking too much.
