If you were interested in Nusret Gokce, here's a look at his Sundays

I wonder how many baby mamas there are for his 13 kids.

He reminds me of Andre Soltner in so many ways.

Lutece was indeed a bit sketchy back in the day.

:entertaining-myself:

Seriously, if the average server bounced food off his bare arm onto your plate, wouldn't you ask to see the manager?

Eater, our favorite whipping boy, recently ran an piece called "In Defense of Salt Bae."

In the comments section I responded that it should have been called "In Defense of Page Clicks."

"I don't understand what's wrong with thinking of correlation as a pricing convention the way one thinks of Black-Scholes vol. I mean, vol curves aren't "real" anyway, but nobody uses local vol models to price vanilla options." - Taion

"But this is blatant ultracrepidarianism on my part." - Taion

I have a dream of a multiplicity of pastramis.

Pete Wells did complain on Twitter today about the hostility to the guy, a son of a butcher from a fairly humble background. My response was to say that he's not presenting himself (or being presented) that way.

Im all for entertainment. I have watched his videos before he got famous and some of them look awesome. No doubt he has skills and passion.

Someone noticed him, marketed him and took his show
On the road. Hes serving steak and entertaining people. I may or may not ever go but, its all good clean wholesome

Just keep your elbow out of my food.

Just like Dom, or the Sushi Chefs, salt cascading down this man's forearms is apart of his history and what makes him special.

Looks like Salt Bae on Park Ave South is ready to open. For people who like chefs to touch your food with something other than their hands.

And not just in the kitchen, either.
