Yes, this is a reoccurring conversation on the interwebs.

The clear winner of the night were the langoustines. Sort of like a scampi I guess, lots of butter and they were delicious.


Does 'scampi' mean langoustines in Italian?

You know, I look at the current menu with the langostines and Lievre and i think I would want to drink more traditional
Wines with these dishes.

I walked out of a wine store recently with a bottle of De Forville nebbiolo, and a bottle of wild organic Primitivo (Fatalone), reflecting that I enjoy both approaches.
