I finally caught up with this Spielberg tale which is sort of a prequel to All the President's Men.  https://www.imdb.com...ef_=tt_ov_st_sm

Well done in the workmanlike fashion that Spielberg can do with his army of actors and crafts people.  This illuminates the Pentagon Papers and the Post's involvement.  [One might wonder how this would go down today.]

And you get good acting from Streep, Hanks and Paulson.

Immediately after we saw this, N said "Are there any similar movies about Watergate"?  We have to rent the "sequel" now.  She's very interested in the time period now after listening to Rachel Maddow's podcast Bagman, about Spiro Agnew.

I have not seen Presidents' Men ‚Äčin some time.  In that film IIRC Katherine Graham is nowhere to be found.  It's as if Ben Bradlee is almost the owner of the paper.
