Never a dull moment and a lot of hilarious ones, with excellent performances from each of the three principals (Olivia Colman, Emma Stone, Rachel Weisz). I was a little wary of seeing another film directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, but the only Lobster-like quality this one had was a cameo from two actual lobsters, overuse of the fish-eye lens and a very strange dance sequence that I'm pretty sure was not authentic to the period.

that dance sequence was everything tho

“One thing kids like is to be tricked. For instance, I was going to take my little nephew to Disneyland, but instead I drove him to an old burned-out warehouse. 'Oh, no!', I said, 'Disneyland burned down.' He cried and cried, but I think that deep down he thought it was a pretty good joke. I started to drive over to the real Disneyland, but it was getting pretty late.”

Something about that sequence seemed familiar.
