I was quite impressed with this multi-media piece at the Abrons Arts Center. It could have been all kinds of cringe-worthy, but instead it worked on a number of levels. It discussed some issues in ways I hadn't previously considered, the production values were pretty high, and it was interesting about 80% of the time. One of the co-creators ended up at Eastwood afterwards, as we did, so we could observe him in the wild.

I was quite impressed, too!  I've seen so many things like that that didn't work, so it was really something to appreciate.

In fact, as you'll see, I gave it my top recommendation this week.  (Over some pretty fab stuff.)

I did. I also saw you recommended Golden Diner. And unless you're Scott Lynch, there's really no excuse for that.

I guess you were on the road last week when this was prominently featured (although not as prominently as this week).

I went to UPN myself.

I should really get over there one of these days. I'm worried I'll expect too much - because fame, because $22 - and be disappointed.

Spend $25, and be happy.

My date had the same reaction to UPN as Wilf!   It's like going out with Wilf!  (I hope it's not JUST like going out with Wilf.)
