Many Happy Returns, Scorched P! (And belated greetings to silvergryphon.)

Happy birthday, Hillvalley! Welcome to your thirties.
(Heard the party was satisfactory. In fact, received this verbatim report from one satisfied customer: "You missed a brain cell mass suicide on Saturday night. Jim Jones would have been proud.")

Happy birthday, Hillvalley. Enjoy your thirties: they rock!

Thank you!!!

I tried to think of something profound to say but the afore mentioned lack for brainc ells will take a while to replace. All I can say is that if the rest of the decade is a great as the first 24 hours or so this is going to be a damn good 10 years

Candygram for Mongo!
“And another thing. You don't have to "move on" either. Not until you're ready. People say, Oh, you should be grateful. They say, Oh, it's time for you to move on. I'm like, What are you, a cop with a nightstick? I'll move on when I'm done playing the blues on my harmonica, thank you very much.

Really, people will tell you all kinds of garbage. Don't believe it.

You don't have to move on until you're ready.”

Ditto  - possibly the funniest thing I've read here
Jazz is musical improvisation; it is the art of the moment. In the recording of jazz, the inspiration and inventiveness of this moment is made permanent by technology, giving pleasure many years after the performance.

Photography is jazz for the eye. - William Claxton
