UPDATE: There are indeed two Asadero trucks, one just north of and acrss from the Darigold plant and another on MLK and Graham. The one on MLK is much brighter and better, to my taste. Mystery over. No mistake after all.

Is that (MLK) pretty much the closest taco truck to me in Montlake?

I think the closest to you would be the one on 45th, just east of Dick's.

Tried a new south-end taco truck today for lunch. It's just south of the Kent-Des Moines Road on Hwy 99/Int'l Blvd.

Had the adobada, the pastor and the asada tacos. Not bad, but not as good as Carneceria el Paisano in White Center. Guess I have to keep driving up there for my taco fix! Can't wait for the new grocery store though, at that same intersection. Might undo their business a bit, especially if the store will have a deli.
I'm looking forward to regretting this.

Thanks, I'll try it now that it's re-opened.

I just read about this web site: Yum Tacos

It's California centric now but it looks like you can add taco trucks from anywhere on there. I thought it would be a nice resource for when that taco truck craving hits.

Odd you should bring this up as there is a major taco truck controversy brewing in LA County as we speak.

Then that happened.

If I understand it correctly you have to make a suggestion & the site owners then do the actual adding of the taco truck for you, perhaps we should contact them first & see if they're willign to be flooded with PNW Taco Trucks.
If so it would be great to be able to pull that info up so easily!

I hope the folks down south can sort out their Taco situation, it sounds a right mess form what I was reading this morning...

Actually, that's how I found this site - I was reading an article about the controversy and it was listed as a "related topic".

I posted on the site and got this response
QUOTE
BRING THEM ON!

I want this list to be as complete as possible. Send us all your taco trucks. The world needs to know the location of all Seattle, Portland, Eugene, Vancouver, Salem et. al. taco trucks.

Yours,

Joshua

So I think we are safe to start adding our trucks to the map!
