I don't know if it looks interesting......more scary I guess. But I'm curious about Bruno's Mexican and Italian joint on 3rd Avenue between Union and Pike. Anyone been?

Yeah, I've been wondering about this place for a little while too. Whenever I go to the symphony I am amazed that they offer a pre-concert meal and am really curious. Do you have time for lunch tomorrow? This might be interesting. I wonder if you can get both Mexican and Italian on the same plate? Anyone else want to venture in?

Rocky

That place is kitty-corner from my office and I've been wondering about it as well. I can't do lunch tomorrow, but next week would be a possibility...

I can't do lunch today either, but next week sounds good to me too!

Dang, I'll be out of town next week. If you guys go have fun and let us know how it went.

Rocky

Rocky, we can't go without you! How about the week after (the week of June 6th)?

The 8th & 10th are out for me.....

Another candidate in the same area is Turf in the West Edge parking garage. When I drive I usually park there and the place looks like a dump, but the smells coming out of it are pretty damn good.
It may have been Camelot for Jack and Jacqueline
But on the Che Guevara highway filling up with gasoline
Fidel Castro's brother spies a rich lady who's crying
Over luxury's dissapointment
So he walks over and he's trying
To sympathize with her, but thinks that he should warn her
That the Thirld World is just around the corner

Well FMGWACS. Any interest in reprising this experience for my benefit?

I'd rather not do the 6th as that will be my first day back in the office, but if that's the only day that works I can probably sneak out.

I didn't see the Mecca listed here (lower queen anne) - They have great corned beef hash for breakfast, the worst chicken friend steak in the world, service is so-so, smokey&, loud but the jam they put on the table is pretty darn yummy. When I lived near there I used to go for breakfast every Sunday for about 6 months wth a couple of friends. We always felt a little sick afterwards but we kept on going!

you know, waaaay back in 1986, it was curiosity that led me to try Chace's Pancake Corral. And it is everything it should be: a real diner with real diner food! I became a regular there for awhile...
I'm looking forward to regretting this.

Walking around downtown at lunch today, I passed a place of been curious about in the past: Bernard's on Seneca. Forbidding large wooden doors and no windows and no posted menu. Any have the 411?
