Baby corn is almost always sweet corn, harvested just as it has begun to develop
sandwiches that are large and filling and do not contain tuna or prawns

It looks just like, well, little baby ears of corn, with the little husks and silk and all (not much silk, iirc). You could eat it raw, even.
