Say you've just gotten your bathroom renovated, and you have 5 unopened boxes of leftover wall tiles, and the manufacturer won't take them back because you're over the 30-day limit for returns. Do you have any options for recouping some of your (not inconsiderable) investment?

Each box weighs 50 lbs. I could do Craigs List for pick up only, but I thought there might be a less hassle-y choice than re-selling them myself. I realize this is a very remote possibility.

I bought this adorable tiny hand mixer at a thrift shop for $5 over the summer. As you can see, on one side it has a little whisk (perfect for single serving salad dressing!) and a little milk frother. And on the other side, it has two identical (except for their size) attachments - anyone know what they're used for?

N thinks they might be whisks for batter.

they kind of look like kettle whips for creams and sauces. what brand is that?

“One thing kids like is to be tricked. For instance, I was going to take my little nephew to Disneyland, but instead I drove him to an old burned-out warehouse. 'Oh, no!', I said, 'Disneyland burned down.' He cried and cried, but I think that deep down he thought it was a pretty good joke. I started to drive over to the real Disneyland, but it was getting pretty late.”

"Quick Mix" is printed on the side. The box is long gone. I've done a fair amount of image searching and can't find anything that looks like what I've got.

Wow! Thanks very much! Different logo on the side, but that's it. I see I did not overpay.

I am visualizing a cerviche-tyoe plate using a light, savory (unsweetened) Meyer lemon curd.   I'm not finding any direction of a savory lemon curd.   Is there something in the chemistry of curd that requires sugar?   And/or, is this just a bad idea?

How long has the Mike's Knife Sharpening truck been visiting East River, and how have I managed to live here for 14ish years without noticing?
