I'm lucky in that I can pretty much shop, be it at DiPalos, the greenmarket, Eataly, whatever, at off times.

If you plan ahead, and if you work in Manhattan, and if you have any flexibility at all in when you take your break, you can shop anywhere at off-times.  Much more pleasant than trying to shop after work or at weekends.

SF busses really are like the DiPalo of spatial displacement.

Exactly.

Really, though, the tech bus situation out here is beyond wacky. On all sides.

DiPalo's is expanding, with a sit-down cafe - entrance on the Mott Street side of the same building that the store and wine shop

are in.  I wonder if they own that building?

And how.

Just recalled the Omni, Suvir, DiFara escapade.

One of the all-time great food dramas - should have been made into a food reality show. Ratings would have been through the roof or pizza pie if you will.

Arguably the best thread that ever existed on any food board. It was actually exciting, funny and at the end, informative in a unique way. Certainly was not for the faint of heart. But it certainly peaked the interest of most members.

Personalities were displayed without prejudice or discipline.

Not sure and it's possible it occurred on eG.

I'm sure the powers that be will be able to answer. I'm just a minion in the cauldron of the empire.

Totally on eG (although I'd be very surprised if it were still up:  I don't think any of that stuff still is).

It was in the DiFara thread - keep looking. Maybe they did remove it - that would be terrible.
