i enjoyed my meals at devi and indique (in dc) a lot in late 2005-early 2006. interested to see how this compares. i do have some food-interested indian friends who swear by it.

There will be a cookbook out next year. I doubt I will be asked to work on it, unless my contact who retired from there does it as a freelancer.

had lunch there a couple of years ago and enjoyed a lot.  Good wine list, too, and they had just gotten the Coravin at the at time so there may be more interesting options BTG now

my dinner had some high points, some ho-hum points and some low points. haven't had time to write it up yet. but i do have to say that it felt very nice to go into an indian restaurant in a big city at 8.15 pm on a tuesday and see it jam-packed.

went back to rasika with the family last month for lunch. the meal was a good value due to their restaurant week prix fixe ($22/head for three courses, large portions) but did no more to convince me of their reputation than my dinner in 2015 had. full review on the blog.
