Yes the debris po boy has yumyum written all over it. My plan was to get one for the plane but every damn thing is closed on Sunday.

I didn't have beignets at Cafe du Monde but I did have an iced cafe au lait.

Unfortunately, no stunning freaks but lots of good people watching on Bourbon Street. My karaoke singing co-workers dragged me there. I bailed when they reached the bar with the mechanical bull. :P

Ask her if she won any beads.

Jason Perlow has an excellent photo article on Dooky Chase at OTB. The red beans + rice + andouille sausage look especially tempting.

Dooky

We've got a heck of a backlog of stuff to post from a 10 day vacation in New Orleans ... and yes, Dooky Chase was great.

Maybe not, but you'd die happy.

Well, you certainly get sick of the rich food after a few days. We had to break it up with like 3 days of vietnamese food, which they have a lot of down there.

Commander's Palace
Galatoire's
Mahoney' Po'Boy Shop
Parkwary Bakery & Tavern
Stanley
Stella!

I'll be reporting here anon with more details about the meals.
