Going to try to walk in tomorrow night, even though they're fully booked up on Rezy two weeks out now (prior to the Times re-review, they were wide open). Best backup options in the area if it doesn't work out? Scarr's?

Thanks folks.  Made it to both Sqirl and Woon yesterday -- Sqirl was good, but I wouldn't wait in line for it (there was a line out the door at 3PM in the drizzling rain (do people in LA not have jobs?)), and I really liked the noodles at Woon.

Plan is Sqrl for lunch today, possibly Langer's for lunch tomorrow, Bestia for dinner tomorrow night. What's the go-to order at Langer's? I seem to recall Sneak having strong feelings about one sandwich in particular on some thread.

I had about 40 minutes between when I got to my hotel and when my meeting started last night, so I went to Here's How: https://www.heres-how.bar/

 

It was ok.  Didn't try any cocktails.  The $4 housemade sparkling cranberry juice tasted a lot like an ocean spray cranberry juice and seltzer.  The food was fine.  The ceviche was pretty nice.  They're trying, at least, and at least it's not too expensive.  Somewhat of an odd scene -- coming from New York, it's weird to see so much open space in a bar or restaurant.

 

I have another meeting at 7AM this morning, so I can't make it to Brown Sugar Kitchen for breakfast.  Looking at going to Cosecha for lunch if time allows.
