Hey GG! Congrats on the new blog!
What she said.
Will the old one still be available? There's stuff there I still need.
[M]ost of the pastas hover around $25. This ought to be enough to buy bucatini that is cooked on both ends. -- Pete Wells on Caravaggio ( * review)
Tonight, there was a dessert of coconut, rhubarb, and black olive. Obvious in its execution how innovation and experiment, when introduced for their own sake, are annoying. --irnscrabblechf52, May 9, 2013

Overnight temperatures are below 0C and today's high was only 8C (yesterday it was even colder), but my crazy neighbours mowed the lawn. They're nuts!
Come on: it's really hard to mow frozen grass.

Yup, the old one's still up, not going anywhere, all links still intact. I had to strong-arm some woman from Kansas City who'd started using the 'A Cooking Life' name for her own blog. Seems to me, one has a duty to check and make sure you're not using someone else's name. Oh, well. It's all mine, now.

“One thing kids like is to be tricked. For instance, I was going to take my little nephew to Disneyland, but instead I drove him to an old burned-out warehouse. 'Oh, no!', I said, 'Disneyland burned down.' He cried and cried, but I think that deep down he thought it was a pretty good joke. I started to drive over to the real Disneyland, but it was getting pretty late.”
