http://mouthfulsfood...?showtopic=8447 I've never been to the Il Mulino in the W.Village and have heard similar stories about it. However, I was incredibly surprised and pleased with the meal I had at the L.I. branch. Not only the food, but the friendliness and interest. Oh well.

They closed last week.There are other Italian restaurants in NYC besides Babbo.
