We ended up only having two lunches to ourselves. Stupidly I didn't realize Pizza Bianco was closed for lunch so we ended up eating at the Irish Pub next door. >50% of our fellow diners had done the same thing we had.

Went to Pane Bianco for lunch the next day. It was good. But in NYC it would be merely good. Similar style sandwich to Alidoro with a lot less choices. Bread was good but not a revelation. Would I go back? Yes. But for a NY'er you might be better off seeking Mexican of some sort.


Also ex-Pane Bianco - I forgot how big portions are out in the provinces. Holy cow -I got huevos rancheros for b'fast in Scottsdale and I ate a third of it.
