cleaned my garage and cleaned out the storage unit I've been renting since I moved out of my last house 5 years ago: five carloads of donations and tax deductions; one trunkload of old paint cans, household chemicals, and used batteries to hazardous waste recycling; one carload of paper to recycling; two garbage cans filled; finally found my winter slippers and hiking shoes

still have some more culling and organizing to do, but it was a good start, and I'll enjoy that extra $85 a month.
