I joined too late to meet Mr. N., but I DID find a telling book review on Amazon, written for one of the Highlander novel spin-offs. His disdain for the two unlikeable main characters was most evident in the line, "You wouldn't have wanted to go to lunch with either of them, even if they were buying."

I'm sorry I missed him---sounds like my kinda guy.
Fairy Tea has its own Magic, for it never does run out,
And the flavour you imagine will come streaming from the spout.
So each person at the table conjures up her favourite kind---
Lemon, Thimbleberry, Moonbeam---what the drinker has in mind.

Thanks for that, John. I haven't had time to read much of it, but know I'll enjoy it. I don't think I knew he was from Kansas City and I see he seems to mention it a lot. I know I'll enjoy hearing about all the old places.
