Menu sent to me by the In-laws. Was/is my favourite restaurant in Melbourne. Originally quite traditionally French, now has many more Asian elements.
chou pastry and gruyere cheese appetiser
1.Consomme of black claw yabbies and chicken
2.Blowtorched kingfish and sweet anchovy, baby capers and white salad onions
3.Shredded slow cooked salmon and grilled spanish mackeral with a light Asian Dressing.
4.Guineafowl with red cabbage chutney and mustard dressing.
5 A choice of
a.Flinders Island suckling lamb and fresh coco beans barigoule
b. Saddle of Highland venison with a sauce poivrade
6.Caramalised passionfruit brulee, spiced cherries quince and strawberry salad
7 Ginger and lime granita and rockmelon
8 Coffee and petit fours.
I think that this is ~ A$90 a head (about £40)
