One verse of "Die Stem" was incorporated into the current SA anthem. It comes after the Zulu and Xhosa stuff but before the English verse.

I lost my cell phone. Again. It's only a month old, too. I used the GPS finder thing to locate it, and it should be somewhere around work. I drove back to look for it, but no such luck. Then I came home, checked the GPS thing again, and it hadn't moved from the previous location, plus I realized it was on a different street from where I looked when I had gone back earlier. So off I went again, but still not luck.

I'm hoping it's at work since it's within the 350m to which the GPS finder thing is accurate.

I had tried calling my phone when I first realized it was missing, but I didn't hear it, so it's not likely in my house. I know it was on, so I should have been able to hear it (unless I accidentally turned the volume down, which I have done in the past due to the fact that I barely know how to use the stupid thing). The last time I tried the GPS thing, it showed up as being about 50m away from my house when it was actually at the bottom of my purse. Oops. But this time, the location on the GPS map was about 10 1/2 km from my house, but 200m from my work, so I'm really hoping it's at work. The company claims the GPS thing is accurate up to 350 m in urban areas, but you never know!

These new-fangled sleek phones are a pain in the ass.

I do have a security code thing on the phone, so if someone finds it, they won't be able to use it unless they swap out the SIM card. And my name and home phone number are on the screen saver, so if someone does find it, hopefully they'll notify me since they won't be able to use the phone, anyway.

Now I'm going to see if I have a remote ring feature.
