I had a great pizza margherita there recently. The grilled mortadella was also very good. Prices were reasonable, too. I wish there were a comparable casual Neapolitan-style pizza place in Philadelphia...

When you are here in Las Vegas, you might want to give Settebello a try.

Daniel, those pictures are wonderful. How did you like the pies?

I loved, loved, loved the pizza.. If my one time was not a fluke and this is how their pizza always tastes and comes out, this is my favorite pie. The dough was crazy good, had a beautiful airiness to it, while remaining chewy and crispy.. The ingredients were awesome. The tomato sauce has a little too much oregano for my taste however, I usually prefer white to red sauce. I was in Brooklyn today and almost had a car full of people willing to stop here moments after finishing lunch somewhere else.

Went yesterday and ordered two pizzas.. The lunch special is a great deal.. For 10 bucks you get a regular sized pie with a salad.. The pizza we ordered was normally 14 bucks..

First pie was the speck and brussle sprout. With fior de late cheese and parm.

Went back with the pugliese: broccoli rabe, sausage, jalepeno, and burratta.

ahh, looks so good. guess i should go back (or wait till it opens on 12th st). went in january, it was fine but not excellent. the pizza a little soggy, iirc. grilled mortadella was pretty good.

These are clever people. While the Pizza at Keste makes a modest sized entree, their Pizza (at least as served in the 12th st location) delivers a full meal at a low to moderate price, which should make it a hit among cash strapped diners. That the meal is mostly made of bad burnt bread is probably not of much importance.

Largely a waste of chewing.

Burnt bread, that's too bad.. It's gotta be something with the U.P.N oven.. Because my pizza was burnt the few times I went there.

went to the 12th street branch last night. uber friendly service but the brussel sprout pie with smoked pancetta was mediocre at best, Soggy in the center and oily.

It's Pizza Week on Eater. On the positive side it's not as inane as Bodega Week a few months back. On the negative side, that doesn't prevent them from posting some unintentionally funny stuff.

Marc Forgione is a big fan of Motorino in the East Village: "Mathieu Palombino has always paid great attention to detail throughout his career and it really shows in his perfectly crafted pizzas. I think his dough is the best I've had in the states."

Accompanying this blurb is this picture of a carefully burnt pizza -
