Let's ink in that Wednesday the 30th, shall we? There is a chance I may leave for the weekend (Edinburgh or Paris - I haven't decided). That will give me an extra day if I decide to go early.

Unfortunately, I shall not be in town when you are. I am in L.A with Syb.

However, did want to say that I had a fabulous young grouse at Rules yesterday. It is £27.50 and served with the classic accompaniments of bread sauce, breadcrumbs, game chips along with a Cumberland jelly and Madeira sauce.

Definitely worth trying out, particularly as you can combine it with a visit to the incomparable Brian Silva in their bar upstairs, currently the best bar in London

Restaurant currently closed as they're having a new boiler fitted, but I've made a reservation request via the website and should hear back from them before the end of the week hopefully.
