Cool. Sorry if it's already mentioned above, but does anyone know the price for the tasting menu? I don't see it on the website.
According to Grub Street:
a seven-course tasting menu, launching next month ($65, $95 with paired wines, vegetarian option available);

$10 for daal?
$5 for plain rice?
$10 for a trio of rice, which I'm guessing are the three thimble-fulls they served at Devi?
I hope the $5 for yogurt or pickles comes with some of that $5 naan.

It's a short walk to Sixth Street from your place.$5 for naan?

I'll definitely go, but those prices are absurd, for items that should be free. I'm guessing that the bread at Del Posto is gratis. (Although I recall that Chang charges $7 or something for bread and butter.)try it. I just ate the second half of my entree for lunch today.

Edit: Seriously, is there any Western restaurant in New York charging those prices that does not provide a basket of bread/rolls/etc., which are probably more time consuming and expensive to make than naan and plain rice?

Seriously, I don't eat at high-end places as often as most people do and, yes, I'm cheap. Do any charge for bread?
