why not create a pay scale for "college athletes" during their college career and treat the NCAA as a farm league for pro football or basketball? So, 25% of the first three years pay for each pro athlete goes to his or her school
Or, let the major league teams "underwrite" college sports programs and get some draft credits for investing their properties. If somebody's dad wants to shop the boy around to schools, why shouldn't he, although perhaps some waiting period should be imposed on a transfer.
