today i made up a barely sweetened lemonade spiced with a dash of cayenne pepper. served in an ice filled tumbler with a splash of tonic. very refreshing. after dinner or maybe before dinner, this will become a tasty cooler spiked with gin or vodka.

I have to say the addition of cayenne raises the bar--something about the way it bounces off the lemon-ness. Mine was barely sweetened, too, and absolutely refreshing. Inspired.
