So i just moved this here and started a new thread since from this point on it will probably be more focused and established. If you guys feel differently please delete this one. I just thought it would be easier to track this way.

OK so here are the first details. The name of the entire thing will be called Um Segredo. Sticking to my portuguese roots it obviously means a secret. The first dates will be november 4th and 5th followed by the 10th and 11th. Im going to max it at 8 people for each event. The menu for the first two will probably be the same and follow the menu i posted earlier. But i will look at it and repost if need be. The following menu will more then likely change and i will post that when its ready. As far as cost of such a thing goes well the first 2 will be a cash donation of $75. Im sure the second two will be the same. If i can get a hold of white truffles soon i will do a tasting just for them. Be kind of crazy and let you guys do the shaving! LOL As far as reservations are concerned it will basically be a first come first serve basis. Please email your requests to umsegredo12@gmail.com. Please remember that they are byob as well. any other details like locations and such will me emailed to the party members as the locations will change from time to time. The first two however will be in my apartment. Cant wait to see you guys there.

Pickled fennel puree, Red wine figs

Portuguese pot pie
Cod brandad, Roasted garlic

Morcilla(blood sausage) stuffed tripe
Piquillos sauce, spanish almonds

Tasting of pheasant
Spatzle, celery root

Yes that is correct. I figured more people would be able to make a weekend engagement first go round.

Well since i just walked in and have an in box of like 10 or 12 emails im totally ok with it! LOL

She actually emailed me and asked me a couple questions. So i sort of saw it coming but i really thougth it would just be a blurb and not an article. The entire point of this is to do menu testing, keep my name on peoples tongues, and have a ton of fun with everyone! So if i can do that its going to be good. I am really excited to do this for everyone. I have so many ideas right now!

Ok only a few spots left. I was answering emails for like 2 hours. People wanted to book 8 tops! LOL but when the dust settled we have 4 spots on the 4th open and 2 spots on the 5th and that is all. Ill post more dates in a bit.

Going going gone. All spots are taken and some i had to push to 9,10. I will probably post next week some further dates along with menus. People showed interest in a white truffle event in emails so ill probably do that and maybe in another location. If something pops up with the current reservations ill let everyone know. Im really excited about the fun we are going to have!
