Highly entertaining. Swimming against the tide of modernity, French rules hound vegetarianism out of schools.

On a 20-meal cycle, a minimum of four meals must include "quality meat" and four "quality fish," and on the other days, egg, cheese or "abats" (offal) should be the main dish.

I think I read somewhere that France has about 1% vegetarians vs about 10% in Germany and Italy. Tells you a lot about how bad food can make people crazy.

sandwiches that are large and filling and do not contain tuna or prawns
