Hertog Jan, located in Bruges, Belgium, was recently awarded a third Michelin star. We had dinner there in July (as a 2 star establishment). The cooking is brilliant. Among many, many excellent venues, our dinner there was clearly my favorite over the course of a three-week holiday.

We had planned on having dinner at Da Jonkman, the new 2 Star, but we were not able to "fit it in". Next time, we will.That's an excellent news.
