Food & Wine magazine mentions a drink recipe from Hatfield's in Los Angeles.

Pretty straightforward:

Add limoncello, gin, and lemon juice in a large pitcher.
Cover and chill for a few hours
Press 3 thin lemon slices against the inside of each collins glass
Top with a spritz of club soda

The website has their suggested proportions.

Limoncello

Contrast this to Rutt's Hut, an old school Jersey hot dog legend. You can't even get across the parking lot without encountering pigeons who are so bold that they try to take bites of hot dogs from people who are walking to their cars. These pigeons are so brazen that they routinely shake down rats for lunch money.

Sounds like the only good use for the stuff. It is soooooooooooooooooooooooooo sweet. Too bad I finished Monkeymay's homemade version years ago.

Tonight, there was a dessert of coconut, rhubarb, and black olive. Obvious in its execution how innovation and experiment, when introduced for their own sake, are annoying. --irnscrabblechf52, May 9, 2013
