I think i had a heart attack.
It's probably wise. I still pee my pants when I hear her but some of the routines have been around since the 70s. "What a lovely frock you have on, dear. Obviously an old favorite!"

I wish there was a video online of Dame Edna producing a "sausage surprise" for Joan Bakewell, the lovely but prim British TV presenter. It consisted of sausages sticking proudly upright from pineapple rings and was fantastically vulgar.

I did see the stage show in London, many years ago.

I had no idea that Barry Humphries was also an artist until we visited a restaurant along the Great Ocean Road in Australia, and there were two of his landscapes in the dining room.
