Lydia Wilson is the most beautiful woman in the entire world.

I throw myself at Lydia Wilson's feet.

(And I could kill myself that I didn't get to see her in Blasted.)

And if I can't have the actress, the one who's a Cambridge Research Fellow in Medieval Arabic Philosophy is also kind of cute.

Lydia Wilson Westfall doesn't appeal, then?

I prefer women who are a bit livelier.

I see the actress went to Cambridge, too.

Dr. J will be getting even smugger than usual in this thread.

Unfortunately, when I was at Cambridge there were 24 colleges of which two were for women and two were coed. The closest thing we had to a beautiful actress was Stephen Fry.

Actually, you must then have had Emma Thompson too, but each to their own.

Holy fuck. I was in Edinburgh the summer Fry, Thompson, Hugh Laurie, and several of their classmates did a show in the Fringe. AND I DIDN'T SEE THEM. Fuck.

I love Stephen Fry. The series in which he journeys to all 50 U.S. states is fantastic. He and Hugh Laurie were also terrific in the comedy series Jeeves and Wooster.

I thought Fry and Laurie were beyond hilarious in Jeeves and Bertie.

But NOTHING is as funny as READING the books.

For some reason, it was televised. Long before they became famous, of course. I distinctly remember watching their edition of Footlights on television. I am trying to remember the other actress in the show... Scottish.

I remember watching it in the front room of the house I shared in Aberdeen. Wikipedia gives Penny Dwyer as the other woman.
