As we speak, at this exact moment, a friend is dining in a restaurant somewhere on planet Earth.

Name that restaurant !

He sent me a photo of the wine list and asked me to pick his wine for him.

I said I might be willing to help if he sends me photos of his dishes ...

I asked him to send me a pic of his wife (she's gorgeous!) but she said no thanks.

I responded "pretty please". She said "NO WAY !!!".

Sorry guys.

First feedback on the meal so far ... "This place is good very good".

My response was "OF COURSE IT IS ! I recommended it to you, you idiot !"

Come to think of it, I see some red wine in those photos. Not sure which of the 2 of my suggestions he selected.

Okay, I'm going to attempt to find out. I hope his wife doesn't nix that request !

Of course food looks the same everywhere now, but seems like something between Paris and London.
I never said that

It "looks" that way or would that be the most obvious "timezone" guess ?

That bastard hasn't responded to my wine inquiry. Nor have any more photos been forthcoming.

Is it just me or are others noticing that the world has become much more "What have you done for me lately" recently ?

Looks like we'll just have to wait until he finishes that bottle and needs some more help from Chambo ...

perhaps he is engaged with his actual dinner companions.

“One thing kids like is to be tricked. For instance, I was going to take my little nephew to Disneyland, but instead I drove him to an old burned-out warehouse. 'Oh, no!', I said, 'Disneyland burned down.' He cried and cried, but I think that deep down he thought it was a pretty good joke. I started to drive over to the real Disneyland, but it was getting pretty late.”

But Chambo has strategies to deal with situations like this when people attempt to ignore him ...

It's an iPhone app that I wrote myself. It's called HYPER-TEXT.

You give the app a text msg that you want to send to someone and it proceeds to send that text msg at the rate of one million times per second.

You find out very very quickly which friends have unlimited text plans and which don't. Especially if they are travelling internationally !

And god forbid if their phone isn't on silent mode.
