What are the best options for an older crowd with some impaired mobility?

Thought you didn't love it?

ETA. If it were just my wife and I what would you say? Franny's?

I don't dislike Berlyn at all -- especially after they upgraded their kitchen with Igrid Rotelle last year.

If it were just you and your wife, I'd clearly say Franny's.

And now, what about people who want to spend as little as possible and have not much taste, but are married to people who think they know something about food?

Wait, that sounds like Paul and me, but I meant our friends with whom we'll be dining in a couple of weeks.

I'm not sure what "as little as possible" means in this context. Berlyn is probably OK for them, too. It's not priced like a sandwich shop, but I wouldn't call it pricey.

There's a Five Guys a block away. And a little Jamaican jerk joint -- you can tell them it's the next Sripraphai.

Thanks. <_<

Actually, it doesn't have to be right near BAM, just in the vicinity. So maybe I'll finally get to Franny's? As long as one of our friends, who has type 2 diabetes, can find stuff to eat.

The thing about Franny's is, it's not for the price sensitive. It isn't expensive for the quality you get (and also isn't expensive for a meal, not considering what kind of food you're eating) -- but price-sensitive people might object to paying those prices for pizza and antipasti.

Drat. This is a guy who loves "all-you-can-eat" sushi places. Although to be fair, that was in Vancouver, BC, where AYCE sushi is actually worth eating.

Okay, I'll keep looking.:)

Is it open yet? Or am I thinking of the one in the Slope?

I don't know how limited the mobility is but, if you are looking to go from Bam right to a restaurant with limited walking Berlyn is basically the only option worth considering. I have never been but, i just know how close it is. There are other places but, you will need a car. Cars are fairly cheap in brooklyn, 8 bucks gets you like anywhere in a 10 minute radius.
Ason, I keep planets in orbit.

Okay, I now know that we will be starting out from 66 Lafayette. Close options that are easy to find info about are Stonehome, No. 7, and Berlyn. (I'd like to try Franny's but think it would be too difficult to shepherd our friends there. Just as a reminder, my party is not limited in mobility, just in keeping focus on what's going on around them.)

Any other places we should seriously consider? And any very recent experiences with Stonehome or No. 7?

ETA: Forgot to mention that the possibility of sharing many apps or small dishes is a good possibility.
