Now that Matthew Hamilton's Lulu & Po is about to open in its old location, I get to thinking I've never been to abistro -- even in its very convenient (to me) current location.

So this question is for AaronS and my other homies: is this place worth going to?

Menu seems appealing -- but it seems like the kind of place where execution might be kind of iffy.

(If nobody answers, I'm sure I'll just go myself one night.)

I had two meals at the original location in 2007 or 2008. so-so home cooking at high prices? I only went back because the guy from thirst, who has good taste, recommended it. the second meal was really awful.

my impression is that the new location doesn't do much business, even on a strip where several restaurants that shouldn't exist do well.
